Republic Business Credit LLC Appoints Kenneth H. Jones, Jr. as Vice Chairman
Well Known Fort Worth Executive joins Republic Business Credit supporting Texas based commercial finance and factoring operations
FORT WORTH, TX — Republic Business Credit, LLC, a working capital finance firm led by nationally recognized entrepreneurs and serving business clients nationwide, announced today Kenneth H. Jones, Jr. joined Republic Business Credit as Vice Chairman. Jones is a Forth Worth native who had most recently served on the Board of Directors of AmeriCredit Corporation a New York stock exchange company sold recently to General Motors.
Jones, now a private investor, practiced law in Fort Worth where he was a managing shareholder in the firm of Decker, Jones, McMackin, McClane, Hall & Bates, P.C. where he spent 35 years practicing law. Jones then served as Vice Chairman of KBK Capital Corporation (now known as Marquette Commercial Finance, Inc.) a non-bank commercial finance company a role he held until January 1995.

In addition, Jones serves as Chairman of Texas Wesleyan University’s Board of Trustees he also serves as Chairman of the Texas Health Harris Methodist Foundation Board of Directors. He has served as Chairman of the Board of the First United Methodist Church of Fort Worth Foundation and is past President of the YWCA Foundation of Fort Worth.
Republic Business Credit, with headquarters in New Orleans and additional regional offices in Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston closed on equity financing from institutional investors earlier this year. In addition the company closed on the first tranche of senior debt in mid-February, a facility starting at $30,000,000 provided Republic with additional liquidity to extend its outreach to new markets and clients.
