CHICAGO – Oct. 14, 2026 – Republic Business Credit announced that Jorge Varela has joined the Recourse Portfolio Client Management team as Senior Vice President, Account Executive. Based in Chicago, Varela will provide strategic and operational oversight to ensure the financial strength and compliance of the portfolio, reporting directly to Sue Duckett, Executive Vice President, Head of Factoring.

Varela brings nearly 20 years of secured finance and account management experience to the role. Specializing in financial statement analysis, risk mitigation, and operational strategy, he has a proven history of structuring creative funding solutions that accelerate client growth and enhance relationship management.
