Representing the Southeast market, Benton joins Republic bringing thirty years of broad banking experience, including a decade as Director of Renasant Bank’s Online Accounts Receivable Finance program. In his new role, he is responsible for driving business development opportunities both within the Renasant Bank footprint and across the broader Southeast region. Dedicated to community and international service, Benton has served as an officer and board member for local chapters of Habitat for Humanity, the Rotary Club, the All-America City Celebration, and as a volunteer teacher for Junior Achievement. He holds a BA in Banking and Finance from Mississippi State University and a postgraduate degree from the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University.
